You’ve got your business idea, your builder, and maybe your keys…BUT do you have your branding?
Do you have an eye-catching logo for your shopfront signage? Does it stand out from your neighbours? Do people know what you are selling? What’s your space feel like inside? What are those little touches (that are actually the BIG differentiators for your customers) in your space?
restaurant, cafe, retail, and service brands, I’m looking at you.
With the high street in the UK disappearing by the moment, the businesses that make it are the ones that draw people in and keep them coming back for that amazing product or service. Or maybe just the best beef empanada or hand-poured pomegranate-scented candle.
Whatever you’re selling, you want people to engage and enjoy your space once they are in there AND once they leave you want them to remember you. And come back. It’s those tiny touches that might not be exactly what you’re selling, but the ones that your customers will remember.
At your restaurant, maybe you have a custom designed set of playing cards for sale because you know that the families that come in need something to do. At your cafe, maybe it’s the coziest colour of compostable takeaway cups with an on-brand message that gives people an extra perk-up with their coffee fix. At your boutique fitness studio, maybe it’s just-the-right designed wayfinding signage.
Whatever all of those elements might be for your business, you need to create them with your audience, your future plans and your brand in mind. And that, my high street friend, is where March and Bloom comes in.
I’m your triple threat:
Graphic designing with a supremely keen eye. I pay attention to ALL of the things, big and small, and I’m always brainstorming ideas along the way to share. The colour you paint your walls is as important as the messaging on your tote bags or gift vouchers. I love thinking about it all together.
Living and breathing local businesses, especially as someone who works from home. I’m thankful to call SW12 home, and go local as much as I can. Hair, cafes, gyms, restaurants, card shop, book shop. You name one and I can give you my recommendation. I also regularly check out the neighbouring postal codes SW4, SW17, SW11, and SW18 as someone who loves a walk and gets around via bike.
Working with local brands gets me out of bed in the morning, knowing I’m helping revive the high street one independent business at a time. There is nothing that makes me happier than knowing I’ve helped a small brand get more foot traffic or more sales. I love shouting about you from the metaphorical rooftops, too.
want to get high street ready?
Let’s sit down, talk about your business and how I can help bring your brand to life. Meet at my favourite local coffee shop or yours?

“I highly recommend and love working with Jen. I've worked with Jen over the past decade while we were both at L'Oreal and more recently on personal projects and at my new company.
She's one of my go-to creative resources for several reasons: 1/ she has fantastic, upscale design aesthetic, and a keen eye for modern beauty 2/ timely & responsible and always collaborative with feedback and 3/ strategic thinker - she can do creative on one piece and understand how it translates into other facets of branding - be it logo, website, social or photography.
